Puzzle 3: Color.. Color..

This is one of my favorite puzzle. Please don’t put spoilers if you already know the answer.

“If a bear walks one mile south, turns left and walks one mile to the east and then turns left again and walks one mile north and arrives at its original position, what is the color of the bear.”

Please give answer alongwith valid explaination instead of wild guesses.

the bear can be on the north pole or 1+1/(2*n*pi) miles in the north from south pole , where n is any +ve integer, so in the colour of bear must be while as it will be polar bear only

    White is right 😉

  3. Will says:

White, because the bear is on the North Pole. Although, factually, polar bears skin is black, and their fur is clear.

  5. greenblob says:

White b/c it started at the north pole…

  6. matthew says:

it must be a Magic Green Bear because is would require some magic to follow those instructions and end up anywhere near the original position, infact he’d end up 1 mile east od his starting point
