technology and zen of life

“A heisenbug (named after the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle) is a computer bug that disappears or alters its characteristics when an attempt is made to study it.”

goodreads.com et al

If you love books, then the Internet has several interesting and useful sites. One such website is goodreads.com, a place where you can, to quote the site, “see what your friends are reading.” It is something like a Last.FM for books, although it is not as feature-rich as the latter.

Visit –how it works– for a more detailed explanation on the website itself.

On a side note, if you like the social networking phenomenon, but need something more intellectually stimulating than orkut and friends, then head out to gather.com. Again from their website, these are the things you can do with Gather. Have fun!
