I would recommend Last.fm not only to music freaks but also to people who occasionally listen to music. Basically the three terms listen, scrobble, share spawned in my mind when I was thinking of a good topic for the post. I think they put it like this Last.fm – The Social Music Revolution. The terms I have mentioned are -
1. Listen – You listen to music, Last.fm supports Winamp, Windows Media Player, Foobar, iTunes and few other music players.
2. Scrobble – As you listen, your tracks are scrobbled(kind of logging of what you hear) on Last.fm site. You can check your weekly/monthly/Overall artists and Overall Tracks scrobbled on the site.
3. Share – Recommend tracks to your friends on Last.fm, view music compatibility, and listen to online radio. Also you get to discover new tracks either recommended by friends or by Last.fm itself. I think that was the whole idea behind the site, i.e., discovering music.
